St. John’s mayoral candidate Ron Ellsworth has taken an innovative approach to reaching young voters by giving a cameo appearance in Episode 3 of the popular Lancer Unleashed video series.

Lancer Unleashed is a local online series, produced by Upstream, a St. John’s based marketing firm. The videos follow the adventures of Bruce Payne and the Rookie, two car wranglers that meet their match when they come up against the Mitsubishi Lancer.

“Young people today are becoming more difficult to reach with traditional media – Ron’s entertaining performance in Video 3 is his way of going ‘outside-the-box’ to get his campaign message to NL’s youth,” says Joe Coffey, Account Director at Upstream Marketing. “Ron is also slated to appear in Video 4 of the Lancer Unleashed series.”
