I am proud to say that an onion ring has more fans on Facebook than Stephen Harper does. As I write this there are 30,136 people who are fans of Stephen Harper. There are 73,600 fans of this onion.

A nine year old child has given premature birth via c-section in China this week.

There was no comment as to the conception of the child.

It may not be the world record, the record was set by a girl in Peru, but it’s not far off.

It is especially interesting because this year my friends and I launched our Thriller dedication video where we reshot the Thriller video shot for shot for fun.

UNICEF has always been known for their campaign pushes during Halloween. Surely people remember those Halloween Trick of Treat boxes.

There was an art contest at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculture Garden recently. The only rule: You were only allowed to submit one sheet of paper. Here are some of the artworks. Sadly, I have not the creators names.

Topless Robot held a contest for who could write the best Star Wars Haiku. There were lots of good ones (apparently 1000) but here are some of my favorites.

In Arkhangelsk, Russia, a man known as Nikolai Sutyagin has built a homemade skyscraper out of his house.

During Perestroyka he inherited some money and with that he started to build his dream home. He hired an architect who planned the first two floors.

From there he spent the next fifteen years building his house upwards. Right now it soars high over the city with thirteen floors. It is the taller structure in the city looking down on even the tallest cement buildings.

Some people in the city love it; others are afraid for their homes and for their skyline.

Either way, this is one interestingly ambitious project.
