So until I get things straightened away I will not be posting. Old posts are still accessible.
The hack itself is an exploit of the WordPress system. I am still investigating but it may be related to the fact that I have not upgraded in a while.
Let that be a lesson to all you WordPress bloggers who are self-hosting your blog. Make sure you keep your WordPress up-to-date.

Over the summer X-Box tried using a store to generate hype for their products. Only they didn’t sell their products. They just had giant tvs running X-Box Kinect, each demoing a different game. Picture an arcade where the games are free and people are jumping and swinging their arms wildly as they control their avatars in the games they are playing.
One demo was the new Star Wars game, which I tried. Personally I found the controls to be unintuitive, but I have been told they require some getting used to.
Here is a trailer for that game:

Recently a friend of mine was referred to a doctor who he was skeptical of, only to find out at the end of the visit he had been given a prescription for homeopathic drugs.
Here is a hilarious sketch from the fourth episode of series three of ‘That Mitchell and Webb Look’ on Homeopathy.

The new music video from OK Go, made in partnership with Chevrolet. OK Go set up over 1000 instruments over two miles of desert outside Los Angeles. A Chevy Sonic was outfitted with retractable pneumatic arms designed to play the instruments, and the band recorded this version of Needing/Getting, singing as they played the instrument array with the car. The video took 4 months of preparation and 4 days of shooting and recording. There are no ringers or stand-ins; Damian took stunt driving lessons. Each piano had the lowest octaves tuned to the same note so that they’d play the right note no matter where they were struck. For more information and behind-the-scenes footage, see http://www.LetsDoThis.com and http://www.okgo.net. Many thanks to Chevy for believing in and supporting such an insane and ambitious project, and to Gretsch for providing the guitars.
