Facebook has always been strict to make sure people don’t create profiles with silly names, or even names of businesses or groups, and that will remain the same. But moving forward as of June 13th People will be allowed to use aliases.
Your alias will have to be alpha-numeric (plus periods) and it can be used as a direct method to access your Facebook profile page. That is, you will no longer need that 9-digit id in your Facebook web address.
For more information visit the Facebook Blog.

The minority Conservative government in Nova Scotia has been toppled.
Darrell Dexter has led his team of New Democrats to a historic win landing his party a solid majority government. His party earned 31 seats of a possible 52.
Loraine Micheal, the leader of the NDP for Newfoundland and Labrador is happy to see the NDP come into power and says she looks forward to collaborating with the Nova Scotia NDPs. She says “the NDP ideals of social justice, equality, and economic progress are ideas that resonate with the average Atlantic Canadian.”
What does this mean for voter support for Conservatives on the federal level?

How often have I heard these arguments from clients. They perfectly define the attitudes that clients have in the web industry when they do not understand the service they are receiving.
Some of my favorites are:
“This one says $19.99. I only had $7.00 set aside for it.”
“I’d like the highlights but for now I can only pay for the trim.”
“Let me make a phone call, let me see what I can do, maybe I can get you $8.50.”
“I can cover your hard costs, but that’s as far as I will go.”
“What I need you to do is show us how you made it, see if we can do it on our own, and then next time we can do it in house.”
